Isabel Muñoz

Isabel Muñoz is professor at the Universitat of Barcelona. She has experience in the study of river ecosystems, especially in the ecology of aquatic invertebrates. This experience has been applied to the evaluation of the ecological quality of rivers and the effects of global change on the community using field monitoring and experimentation in the laboratory.

Personal contribution to the project:

She is PI of the UB team. She will be mainly involved in WPs 3 and 4, to study the responses of invertebrates and food chains to contaminants from the urban run-off, and in the project dissemination (WP5).
